Kim Kyu Jong, the fifth and final member of SS501 to fly solo, has unveiled a shocking set of teaser photos for his upcoming solo debut.
On September 27, Kyu Jong will make his solo debut with a new mini album, titled Turn Me On. This will be his first step back on the music stage after the year and 6 months since SS501′s last group promotions.
Prior to preparing for his solo release, Kyu Jong starred in the musical adaptation of Goong, during its highly popular run in Japan earlier this year.
B2M Entertainment representatives told reporters that Kyu Jong took an active role in the production process and concept meetings to ensure that he would “undergo a dramatic transformation that will show fans a side of Kyu Jong that they’ve never seen before.”
And we don’t doubt it. With his androgynous, avant-garde if we may, snow-white makeup and styling, it’s clear that Kyu Jong will be trying to prove something with this release — We’ve got no idea what that is, but it’s going to be an exciting wait until his MV teaser drops on the 22nd.
