The U-Express Live 2013 was held on March 2 at the Makuhari Messe
in Japan. The concert is one in which only the most popular singers
that represent the six labels under Universal Music can perform.
Kim
Hyun Joong performed amongst Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, Far
East Movement, Dreams Come True, Perfume, Naoto Inti Raymi and Kara.
15,000 fans were there, cheering as the all-star lineup unfolded before
their eyes.
This day, Kim Hyun Joong performed his single Heat,
which was written by Japan′s beloved singer B′z, Kiss Kiss, Lucky Guy,
Your Story and more for a total of eight songs.
His performances
alternated between charismatic rock and dance, and the singer was also
able to greet the other singers as they talked about each other′s
performances.
A rep from Kim Hyun Joong′s Japanese agency told enews
on March 3, "Kim Hyun Joong has been drawing so much global interest
that he was able to represent his label in Universal Music′s first joint
concert. We plan to take greater care for his future activities, as the
Japanese music scene and the press has shown interest following the
success of his Japan tour."
Kim Hyun Joong previously performed in a successful set of performances in South America from February 24-25.
He is currently touring Japan for his Japan Tour 2013 Unlimited, and will meet with fans in Tokyo, Sapporo, Fukuoka and Osaka in March.
