SS501′s member Kim Hyung Jun had his fanmeet in Singapore last night at Rock Auditorium. Returning to Singapore as a solo artist with his solo album, Kim Hyung Jun rocked the night with his amazing performance, games and high 5 session with the fans.

Fans started to gather outside the event venue at about 6pm, all excited about the fanmeet. Fanclubs were seen distributing light sticks and small banners. Meanwhile, Hyung Jun was having his rehearsal, all geared up for the performance.

Kim Hyung Jun kicked off his fanmeet with title song ‘Oh!Ah’ from his first solo album ‘My Girl’. Fans screamed and cheers as he came onto the stage. Charming the fans with his vocal and dance moves.

After the first song, he sat down with the MC for a little chat. He was taught to speak in Singaporean Enligh. He learnt to add things like ‘la’, ‘sia’ and ‘meh’ at the ending of each sentences. Such as ‘Very pretty sia’ and ‘You are handsome meh?’, bringing laughs to fans. He also taught the MC a few of his dance moves for ‘Girls’, engaging fans yet again. When asked about who he wants to work with in the future, he said ‘Beyonce?’. The MC then asked about his fellow group member Park Jung Min, whether Hyung Jun wants to work with Jung Min, Hyung Jun joked about how not cute and sexy Jung Min is. Bringing another round of laughter to the fans.

He then returned with his second performance of the day, ‘Girls’. Many fans were singing along while waving their light sticks in the air to give the best support to their idol. He also asked the fans to join him for the chorus, bringing up the level of performance.

During the games session, he drew a portrait for one of the lucky fans. Another five fans were picked to take a polaroid with him. Among the VIP guests, he spotted a few young children, he went down the stage and invited the 3 little girls to go on stage and took a photo with him. When the MC commented that Hyung Jun can be a very good father, Hyung Jun replied that he will do well as a husband and father in the future. The MC jokingly asked how many children he wants to have, Hyung Jun replied ’10 children’. The MC joked about Hyung Jun having a soccer team, Hyung Jun continued the joke by adding ‘basketball team, baseball team’. A lucky Russian fan was picked to go on stage, Hyung Jun then sang her ‘I am’ and gave her a rose.

After the interaction with fans, Hyung Jun went backstage to change into another outfit, coming out again dressed in white, he performed ‘You’re not other woman’ and asked fans to stand up, once again rocking the stage with his awesome performance.

This upbeat song is followed by a ballad ‘Heaven’.

After this song, a video made by Singapore Triple S was shown to everyone, Hyung Jun seemed to be moved by the video and thanked fans profusely for everything. A love letter by fans was read out to him as well. He also received a trophy, he took it seriously like he was really at an award ceremony, he thanked his mom, his brother Ki Bum, his lovely dog Choco. Coming back to Singapore again after a year, he thanked fans for their support and also promised to work harder and give everyone the best he can.

Last song for the fanmeet, he performed ‘UR Man’, this song was from his SS501 days, where he ussed to sing it with his members. However, this time round, he performed the song all by himself.

Although Hyung Jun left the stage after the last song, but the excitement and love for him did not die away with him exiting the stage. Fans chanted ‘encore encore!’ and ‘Kim Hyung Jun’ over and over again, hoping he could comeback on stage again. Well, the efforts from the fans certainly did not go to waste, he came back on and performed two songs, ‘Oh!AH’ and ‘Girls’.

At the end of the fanmeet, he said thank you and bowed to the fans
