[News] Kim Hyun Joong - KeyEast files a lawsuit against MOGEF in defense of Kim Hyun Joong’s “Please” [12.10.11]

On October 12th, the Seoul Administrative Court revealed that Key East Entertainment filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family on behalf of Kim Hyun Joong. Kim Hyun Joong’s agency is protesting the ban placed against his song, “Please“.
Key East is requesting that the MOGEF withdraw their ban on Kim Hyun Joong’s digital single album and music video. Representatives stated, “The only lyrics referencing to alcohol in his June release, ‘Please’, are two lines stating, ‘I am drunk’, and ‘Between the spread of the cigarette smoke’. These two are not lines referencing the effects of drugs.”
They continued, “The use of alcohol and cigarettes is not a major theme in the song. Furthermore, the Ministry has failed to ban songs that reference to drugs more directly and explicitly. The decision made on Kim Hyun Joong’s album is unjust.”

“The Aim Of This Album Is ‘Making Entertainer Kim KyuJong Being Known"
The song is about asking for return after breakup, what type of person are you when you’re in love?
I am not someone who will ask for her to return. Because I think that trust is the most important thing in a relationship between two people. I will break up with her right away if one bad thing happened, even if she treats me very well usually.
“Musical, in fact I hated very much to do it in the beginning.”
How was it when you debuted in musical with musical ‘Goong’? Don’t you feel like an outsider?
Not at all. In fact, I hated to do the musical because of that point. So in the beginning for about a week or so, I didn’t eat with them. I was showing my awkwardness for nothing. I thought they will leave me out. But it wasn’t the case. On the contrary, I heard that the other actors/actresses felt that I was being difficult. Because I am someone whom they only see on TV but is here with them. Living together for about a month in Kyoto, we became close to each other. Hyungs will have a drink while giving me guidance on acting, and also gave me a lot of advices. We also went on a MT (membership training) to CheongPyeong a while ago. I even paid the membership fee for manager hyungs and brought them along. It would be great if all of us can go for the Tokyo performance but I guess it would be difficult so it’s really a pity.
How about Kang DongHo who joined the group much later?
Not just DongHo hyung, please be good to all the hyungs. If you look at YooJun (Jang YooJun, actor who acts as Lee Yul in musical ‘Goong’) and me, please feel extremely good. Looking at both of us while we are eating, hyungs would go “Feels pleased if I look at KyuJong, I want to teach YooJun(?)”. Haha
In the release of the scene, KyuJong is the person who got the first kiss of Choi YeSeul.
(Quite seriously) Actually I am really curious. Is that real? YeSeul is actually quite talented. She dances, sings and acts well. Her character is also bright and bubbly. Initially she was extremely shy, but in the ending scene in the Kyoto performance, she jumped and kissed me. It should have ended beautifully like in a comic but it didn’t so it was fun. (laughs)
“Made mistake in musical stage, returned home and cried terribly.”
Watched the performance before our interview. Was it a mistake in the middle of performance? Too mischievous?
No. (Kim KyuJong shook his head violently and replied) It really wasn’t a joke that day. I was only concerned with my own part, so I didn’t know. After the performance, when we gathered and talked, everyone told me I made a mistake. I was really ashamed and said, “I guess I shouldn’t take up Tokyo performance”, but surprisingly there are many people who made mistakes. Jung DongHwa hyung said that was his first mistake in his life. (laugh) The performance was in fact nothing in particular but seems like the atmosphere was by far the best among the performances. I returned home and really cried hard. Because it was really a failure, the seniors who performed together told me that the more the body is tired, the more you have to relax and do it. In the next day’s performance, I relaxed and felt the difference. It’s a pity. Why did you watch the performance on that day. (laugh)

Actually, the place where I frequent sells beef intestines a bit expensive. I went there quite some time after the broadcast, the boss asked why I didn’t go there for such a long time, and that HyungJun went there frequently with his mother. FC MEN – Miracle FC “Big Clash” Over the Win for the 2011 Peace Star Cup on the 19th
The entertainer soccer teams FC MEN and Miracle FC will clash over the place of the winner of the 2011 Peace Star Cup.
FC MEN, the winner of the first half, and Miracle FC, the winner of the match on the 11th, will hold a battle of the kings for 2011 Peace Star Cup on the coming 19th in the Assistant Field of Suwon World Cup Stadium on the coming 19th.
The first match that was held on the 11th in the Artificial Field of the Suwon World Cup Stadium was a match between FC MEN lined up with idols such as Kim Junsu, Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Kikwang and Yoon Doojoon and the comedians team FC Rivero.
The two teams exchanged 3 goals each in a friendly manner for the first and second halves and relieved the thirst for goals that plagued the second half of the league. Player Na Kyunghoon of FC Rivero who had succeeded in making two goals in critical moments took the MVP of the match.
Continuing, the MC team Miracle FC and the actors team Super Stars unfolded a match. The two teams had a close match but Miracle FC that was ahead in speed and passing won 3:1 and has come to hold the ticket to the finals.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong - “Bae Yong-joon is a reliable brother” [12.10.11]

Singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong revealed his close friendship with senior actor Bae Yong-joon.
In a recent interview with ENews, Kim Hyun-joong revealed that he calls Bae Yong-joon, the major shareholder of their management Key East, ‘brother’ and that he is very reliable.
Kim Hyun-joong said, “Bae Yong-joon is a trustworthy brother who is dependable not only for business matters but also for personal ones”.
“When I was making my album recently, he came to the recording studio and monitored for me. He gives me lots of advice as he is also interested in music. He’s not as exact as Yang Hyeon-seok or Park Jin-young as he’s not a singer, but when he points out there’s something missing in a certain part, it’s difficult but I try to figure out what ‘that’ is”.
Of course, when he was asked what if Bae Yong-joon was featured on his album, he said, “I don’t want that, but he were to take part in my album, I would like to request him to be on the cover of it”.
Finally, Kim Hyun-joong said, “When it comes to work, he lets me do everything I want. Because of that I am more cautious about what I do. He makes people be more careful and precise”.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun-joong has released his second solo mini album “Lucky” in following last June. It is made up of five songs with strong beats and rock and roll instrumentals like the song “Do You Like That” and the title song “Lucky Guy”. Having shown his masculine side on the first album, this time he’s transformed into a chic and dandy guy.

being a fan, its hard to admit but yes, its true that it wont be easy for them to be back as a group, but nevertheless faith is still there, as long as we keep on believing in them... surely they will be back! =)

Former SS501 member, current actor and singer Kim Hyun Joong talked about the possibilities of SS501 getting back together.
Kim Hyun Joong stated at a recent meeting with reporters, “Honestly, there are members I still keep in touch with and others I don’t. 5 of us never really all got together in one occasion. When the members get together we talk about being true to what we are doing now”.
Kim Hyun Joong also added, “What the fans want would be when the album would be released but it would be disappointing to promise something and to not be able to come through. The name SS501 belongs to a different company and for 4 companies to produce one album together is realistically not easy. Perhaps a collective stage might be possible but to release an album together seems tough in reality”.
The SS501 members have left DSP Media and other than Kyu Jong and Young Saeng signing with the same company, they all have gone their separate ways with a different management company. The team’s name SS501 still belongs to DSP Media currently.
Kim Hyun Joong was also honest in admitting, “I want to be judged to be the best out the 5 members of SS501 as a solo”.
Kim Hyun Joong has released the second solo mini album ‘Lucky’ on October 11th and will start promotion with the title song ‘Lucky guy’. A Japanese tour is scheduled involving multiple cities including, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and the Asian Tour for next year is in planning.
