This fan meeting is their first event with their new agency. This is their first official performance in a year, so they could not hide their expression of excitement. Their gratefulness towards each countries' fans who filled up the audience seats, and the excitement of standing on the stage which they've yearned for, these expressions were shown on their faces. Each and every country welcomed them warmly with their own unique way which created unforgettable memories for both of them.

Filled with Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSaeng's charms, SportsHanKook took a peek at each of the Asia countries' fan meeting.

Bangkok Thailand fan meeting was held on 10-Dec last year. It is not just fans alone who waited for the both of them. Local reporters, who were curious about SS501 members' recent news, were in frenzy to get these stories. Besides the official press conference, they have press conference one after another even in the place where they stayed.

Heo YoungSaeng did an impromptu 'aegyo' dance upon fans' request. He made a little cute smile and swayed his body, sending the fans to scream and cheered for him.

Charming Kim KyuJong who makes a soft smile. It has been a long time since he faces with fans so he kept smiling constantly. Calmly looking at the audience and sometimes got teary at some thoughts, but the delightful smile spread over his lips.

Their cooking battle which started in Seoul continued even in Thailand. Anxious Kim KyuJong who couldn't move his hands like what he had in mind, Heo YoungSaeng's expression when looking at him, and crossing their sight with the pleading look of their fans looking at them, and breaking into laughter.

Crossing over to a new year, both of them kept the heat of their fan's passion even in HongKong on 8-Jan. They sang <I love you. Sorry> and <Never Let You Go> respectively and fans cheered in return. The audience let out exclamations towards their never-rusty stage manner and deep sentiments.

They also gave all they have in the dance battle. Heo YoungSaeng sang Rain's <Song to Hold on You> and Kim KyuJong sang <Wuss up>, heating the atmosphere in the fan meeting even higher.

Reporter: You had your 1st Solo Japan Presscon during autumn last year. Are you nervous during that time?

JM: Due to that it is the 1st presscon, I was a little nervous. But it was only a while, when i start to let go of the tension and happily proceed on with the presscon.

Reporter: What is it that you have learn?

JM: President Roy from the firm was there too thus I have learn how to communicate and interact.

Reporter: Your language skills are improving. In actual fact, you have been to many countries and collaborate with the people in China and Japan. When facing new people, dont you fear? What is the secret for being loved by people?

JM: The secret is having honest heart to heart communication. Interpersonal relationships has nothing to do with age gap as long as you open your heart to others, others will do the same to you.

Reporter: I can totally get what you feel. So being an excellent singer, what is the thing u need to do?

JM: Put your heart and soul to sing. You have to pay attention to the melody as well as the lyrics and then put your heart in to sing.

Reporter: So this is why your songs can be in people's mind for so long. Recently, you have been writing lyrics, is there any specific time or place to do it?

JM: Normally I would lie on the bed, listen to the melody repeatedly while doing my lyrics composing. Or when alone in the car, when finding/ myself.

Reporter: When does your lyrics creativity flows in?

JM: When I am staring into space.

Reporter: It was then your creativity start flowing in. Can tell us a little of your preparation in Dec with regards to your new solo album "Not Alone", what kind of style is that?

JM: "Not Alone" is a song saying "I am not alone, you are also not alone" as a theme for the song. Together with the MV, the theme and dance will give the impression of a military style. Then "Do You Know" is a soft rock song telling of a conversation of reuniting couples. "Everyday is Christmas" is a bossa nova christmas song.

Reporter: In every song, we can see your varying emotions. Thus, during recording are there any difficulties or anything that leave a deep impression?

JM: When recording "NOT ALONE", the most difficult part is the discussion of the melody and the composing of lyrics. Especially the songs "Do You Know" and "EveryDay is Christmas" there are lots of differences of ideas in the lyrics thus we wasted lot of time there. But I am happy that I can project my thinking into this recoding.

Reporter: Next I would like to talk about the song "Not Alone". With this topic, can you tell us the relationship between your colleagues, friends and fans and their support towards you.

JM: The crew and cast from the Japanese Musical "Bonds Of Boys" and all the workers in the Japan firms were very nice and warmth towards me.

Reporter: Wow, they are really very nice people indeed! From the song "Do You Know", can tell us what kind of person Park Jung Min really is?

JM: A very gentle person who will not get angry with ladies.

Reporter: I am really admire your forgiving heart. "Everyday is Christmas" song is trying to tell that you are trying to have what kind of Christmas party?

JM: It is the kind of party where we can chat, the type where "as long as it is fun it's ok" kind of feel.

Reporter: Great! So if you have a girlfriend, what kind of Christmas present would you be giving her?

JM: If giving to a girlfriend, I will choose necklace. I love the feeling of her choosing a suitable present for herself.

Reporter: I really feel as if I have known you a lot more. So as a singer, what other things you would like to challenge or try?

JM: I have already did a Dec fanmeeting smoothly with my band. Next I would like to try to have a chance to collaborate with orchestra or dancers to explore new music.

Reporter: We shall wait and see. Next, what you do want to tell the reader?

After completing a successful promotion for his solo debut, SS501’s Park Jung Min has headed over to Japan with YAMAHA Music Media for the release of “Not Alone.”

The singer will be holding a celebratory showcase on February 13th in Kobe and on the 14th in Tokyo, and will be performing alongside the Abingdon Boys School’s SUNAO and Toshiyuki Kishi.

The Japanese media is already hyping the release, as many are anticipating his collaboration with two of the biggest names of Abingdon Boys School. Park Jung Min will be presenting not only his solo album, but SS501 songs and other famous J-pop tracks as well.

Following his Japanese showcase will be his Taiwanese showcase and fan meeting on February 20th, which will kick off his official activities for his Asian tour promotions.

Q1: What kind of album you have in mind? ( to be released in summer?)

A : Now in the process of selecting songs from the candidates. I have not yet decided the contents. I received roughly 300 candidate songs. I will select 5~6 songs till the end of December.

Q2: Any tips for Japanese fans who are anxiously awaiting your album ?

A : Well, the dance numbers are focused. I would like to write some lyrics by myself, though I still wonder I can compose a song or not. I will include a Japanese version as well. The album will have a variety, a China version, Taiwan version, to be addressed to the Asia. As I will upgrade performance as well as vocal, I would like to promote showcase activities. I will do my best so that I will be able to have a promotional showcase in Japan. 

Q3 : You previously talked that you were composing songs by playing a guitar, or piano in your private studio at home. How about your recent music activities?

A : As I am too much occupied that I cannot have such a private time. In order to prepare for my solo album, I would like to have a dance lesson first. For that purpose, a famous dancer is coming from NY , who choreographed for Usher Raymond IV(R&B singer), Justine Timberlake, and Ne-Yo. I will take a private dance lesson from him. 

Q4: Wow, we can expect a genuine dance performance !

A : Yes, please look forward to seeing it. Therefore, I would like to challenge to guitar, or composing songs after I upgrade my dance performance to the level I feel satisfied. 

Q5: Recently, Kpop is getting more and more popular. How do you feel about it?

A: I am very happy that many Korean activists are active in Japan, getting high reputation now. Though the center of the popular artists are now boys group as well as girls groups, I would like to make my best efforts by myself so that I can prove that Korean solo artists are fantastic. 

Q6: Wow, it increases our expection !What kind of music, do you aim?

A: The music I would like to aim is “ performance music “ . With fusion of music, dance, and a beautiful video art, I would like to show audiovisual performance which stimulates sense of vision and hearing. 

Q7: What kind of film or audiovisual, do you like the best?

A: First of all, I like SF. Among recent films, I like “Transformer” and “Avatar” .
I am interested in that kind of vision.

Q8: Do you think of creating something, reflecting such SF-like audiovisual into your MV?

A: Yes, that is right ! My MV will be something new and very unique one, being inspired by those creations. I have something in my mind now. When you have my next album in your hand, you will understand, “ This is what Hyun Joong wanted to realize !”

Q9: From now on, you are going to expand your activities to Japan, China, Taiwan and so on, to the global world. What you would like to achieve in Asia?

A: I would like to have a big charity event with all the fans from Asia at one spot.

He's now on himself as aside from the five like before.

Park Jungmin who has stood forth in his solo activities for the first time outside of SS501. Because of the burden from going 'alone', he even developed insomnia; despite that, he embraces the excitement with regards to a 'brand new start' with his stepping forth alone.

That is why his song title is named 'Not Alone', too. To analyse into it, it could be interpreted as "I'm not alone", and of course, lyrics of all three songs from within this album have been written by himself personally.

"For a singer, it is the most important thing for him to put in all his heart and sing a song. And so for my case, I put in all my heart and experiences into writing the lyrics word by word. Hahaha. We're all not alone, and 'are as one'. Though I may be alone for now, SS501 is Forever - such a meaning exists too".

For the sake of showing an individual like Park Jung Min instead of as a member of SS501, he's ripped off his soft image of the past's.

"I want to show a sharper image than before, and so I lost weight of about 12kg. In the gym that I attend includes many body-fit singers like Kim Jong-gook hyung, Super Junior, SHINee etc. I cannot possibly lose to them if compared, can I".

Though he changed in terms of outlook, his preposterous side and straight-forwardness couldn't be hidden. He revealed his dieting secrets such as 'hot creams', 'thigh trimming', 'blood-vessel massages' etc.

Although other team members are all now doing activities in each of their agencies, their tenacious affinity still goes on.

"We're apart for now but we don't use the term 'disbandment'. We made a few priority conditions that although we're dispersed here and there for now, when we gather back as one SS501, we will turn down all personal schedules and be prepared to re-unite. Rather than it being forced, we'll make it happen au naturel as we shall emit illumination on each of our own when we stand together on one stage in chances to come. We're preparing to lash on that opportunity when it's here".

Park Jungmin who's been actively appearing in all kinds of music programmes and variety programmes these days has already filled his work schedules to the brim for the entire of this year.

"After May, I'll be doing Asia tours in 5 countries, after which I'll be starring in a trendy Taiwan drama in around July~August. In about Fall or Winter, I'll be back in Korea to do a drama for I want to let people know about an actor called Park Jung Min".

Because of his role as Baek Seung Jo in Playful Kiss, Kim Hyun Joong name gets more popular. He got popularity award from MBC Drama Award last year. This SS501 member beat Lee Min Ho, who is popular because his role in Boys Before Flowers and Personal Taste.

Hyun Joong did not expect this award. At the beginning, the Face shop icon who is 24 years old, got difficulties to act as Baek Seung Jo, cool man who have IQ 200.

MBC Game 10 year anniversary special program “SS501 HyungJun, create a game team” team logo song and team uniform has been revealed.

Team leader Kim HyungJun expressed, in order to let the team member to be more united, and also to promote the program, already appointed a composer to compose the logo song. The logog song ‘If’ os personally produced by a composer which is good relationship with Kim HyungJun. His representative word include BEAST’s ‘Soom’ and also MBLAQ’s ‘Stay’ etc. Also, Kim HyungJun solo album that is going to be released soon is also produced by him.

This logo song fast beat and digital music will bring up the team spirit, it is very matching to the team image. Team Director Hong JinHo player expressed, the team members have personally involved in the team recording and producing, making it an even more meaningful logo song.

Also, SS501 Kim HyungJun’s brother, the famous U-Kiss Kibum together with Kim HyungJun has participated in the design of the uniform and became a topic of discussion. After completed the enrolment of team member, currently preparing to equip his team members’ Kim HyungJun expressed currently have request his brother KiBum who setup their business together to design the team uniform. I always admire Kyu Jong for being so nice to his fans even when his still with SS501 and likewise with the rest of the members... i just dont get it when i found out a rumor that theres a "we hate Kyu jong" or something... for me, they are just talking nonesense and doesnt know how to appreciate... oh well! we cant pleased anyone, but for those who just live a life that hating someone,,, better live life appreciating... hehehehe (^_^)

After parting ways with DSP Media last year, the members of SS501 have demonstrated what it was like to be ’separate but together’. Kim Hyun Joong has established himself as an actor, and Park Jung Min returned with his first solo album, “Not Alone“.

Kim Kyu Jong is also standing before the starting line of his new acting career after he joined B2M Entertainment, the agency of fellow member Heo Young Saeng.

The aspiring actor recently took part in an interview with Daily Sports and revealed that he will be working against his ‘flower boy’ charms in an attempt to become a more skilled actor.

Q. “How’s it like working on your own now?”

Kyu Jong: “It makes me think a lot about being with my members.  We used to joke and play around without rest, but now that I’m alone, the feeling’s difficult to express. It feels kind of empty.”

Q. “Are you studying acting now?”

Kyu Jong: “I get trained about two to three times a week for two hours at a time. When I was with SS501, I received some acting experiences through music videos and variety programs; now that I’m entering the world of professionals, I have to do it properly. There’s a lot of pressure, but my eyes have been opened to the charms of acting, and I’m full with excitement. There’s a drama I’m currently in discussions for, so the decision will be out soon.”

Q. “What kind of actor do you want to become?”

Kyu Jong: “I want to succeed with my skills, not with my ‘flower boy’ image. I am a part of a ‘flower boy’ group, but that doesn’t make me one. …I’m planning to prepare myself so that I can act in a way that delivers my emotions to the audience.  I love actor Ha Jung Woo’s acting, so I study his works a lot.  He’s especially amazing in the movie, ‘Amazing Day.’”

Q. “Do you meet with the SS501 members often?”

Kyu Jong: “All five of us haven’t been able to meet at one location yet because one or two is always out on another schedule.  Young Saeng-hyung is in the same agency as me, so we meet often and give each other advice. He’s preparing for his solo album right now, and I accompanied him on his trip to the U.S. and met his album representatives; I also got to listen to his songs. I call Jung Min often and even monitor his stages.  Sometimes I’ll even grab drinks with Hyun Joong-hyung.”

Q. “You must be worried about different things now that your solo activities are coming up.”

Kyu Jong: “Before, the members could carry me, but now I have no one to depend on and must take responsibility for myself. Of course I’m worried, but I’m sure I’ll improve myself through this opportunity.  I’ve begun to see things that I didn’t notice when we were together.  I’ll see the members doing their individual activities and wonder to myself where these different images they’re expressing were hiding. Every time I feel that they’ve grown. I feel really proud and become motivated to do better myself.  I think we’ve become like a whip for one another.”

Q. “Aren’t there a lot of hardcore SS501 fans?”

Kyu Jong: “I once told my fans to restrict waiting outside our homes; in return, I would treat them better in concert or broadcast halls.  Ever since then, there’s been a lot less sasaeng fans.  My father often tells me to treat them well when they come to me, because who will be there 10 years from now.  It’s true, don’t you think?  I live feeling thankful that they like me.”

Q. “When will SS501’s album be released?”

Kyu Jong: “I’m thinking sometime near the year-end.  Our agencies are all different, so it’s difficult to get things moving.  Since all of our members are on the same page of remaining together, the results of that desire will come out soon.”

YS: when i got here, i get that question every time but as of the moment, i don’t have any girlfriend and i think, if you ask the other idol groups, they’ll say the same thing.

I.V: a fan probably be a potential girlfriend?

KJ: to me, it doesn’t matter if she’s a fan or not. I believe that if they’re destined for each other, they’ll fall in love & share that very special feeling.

I.V:so what are you looking for a girl?

YS: if she’s someone that can really understand me, she’ll be my ideal girl

I.V: what about you?

KJ: someone who’s friendly, considerate and smiles a lot.

I.V: who’s better in singing and dancing between you two?

YS: Me

I.V: (asking kyujong) is it okay that he’s better?

KJ: (nod) he’s the main vocalist of our group & he’s been dancing since he was young; since he was the main man in our band, most people don’t recognize his dancing skills but this time he’ll show everyone that he’s really good at dancing.

I.V: if there’s a secret that you could tell about him that we don’t know, what would it be?

YS: well, actually he doesn’t have any.

KJ: he has no secret but nobody knows that he’s a genius.

I.V: oh! wow! genius! well, like your outfit and your hair, how do you describe it and how do you style yourselves?

KJ: usually we don’t wear this much just comfortable clothes but when if is a special day, we wear different. our stylist pick our outfits for us & they style our hair.

I.V: If i would go to korea, where would you take me?

YS & KJ: in Gyeongju!

KJ: in korea, bibimpap is a popular food, and it is there were it originated.

I.V: I like. celebrity crush? KPOP or Hollywood?

YS: who could it be?

I.V: no crush?

KJ: my male idol would be jhonny depp and my female crush would be anne hathaway.

YS: for me ot would be Song Hye Kyo, a korean actress.

I.V: craziest thing a fan did to you?

KJ: there are times that after a fan meeting, fans would line up and cry while we shake thei hands. that’s very touching.

I.V: after your fan meet tomorrow, are you coming to the philippines any time soon?

YS: Yes of course we want to comeback here, but in order to do that, we need the support of our fans so keep on supporting us so we can comeback.

I.V: Yes,  we support you, comeback. aside from singing and dancing; acting roles, korean drama, do you have projects?

KJ: im currently improving my acting skills, im trying my best to do that so i can show it to everyone.

YS: im in the middle of releasing a solo album but if given the chance, i’d like to try some acting projects, any variety shows or programs.
